The Restoration of Pasig Revolving Restaurant

Ever since we moved to Pasig City in 1986, the Pasig Revolving Restaurant was already closed to the public. For years, it’s abandoned and never in use. I never get to enter this famous landmark and never saw the vicinity of Pasig from this (abandoned) revolving restaurant.

Last year, the City Government of Pasig decided to renovate and revive the Pasig Revolving Restaurant. For me, it’s one of the best projects of incumbent Mayor Maribel Eusebio. Not only is Pasig City beginning to revive its former icon, but it would surely boost the tourism of the city.

The Pasig Revolving Restaurant opened in 1974. It was called revolving restaurant because it gives 360 degrees view of Pasig Palengke and nearby barangay. I can’t wait until it opens, hopefully this year.
