In March 2015, Philippine Ragnarok Online (pRO), under Level Up! Games, closed to the public. All player accounts were eventually migrated to the International Ragnarok Online (iRO) based in the United States. I have successfully migrated all my characters to iRO but only begun playing again in November 2016 (after more than a year of hiatus).
Now, there’s a new publisher for Philippine Ragnarok Online and it’s making a comeback, not just in the Philippines, but in Southeast Asia. Gravity is bringing back Ragnarok Online Philippines under Thai publisher Electronics Extreme Ltd.
To celebrate the return of the 1st MMORPG in the country, a massive event will take place on May 7, 2017 (Sunday) 10:00AM at The Annex, 4th Floor of SM North EDSA – the Ragna Festival. I would love to see my former guildmates in this event. See you guys there!
