AyosDito.ph iBall

I had fun at the “iBall” event last night at The Alpha Tent, Alphaland Southgate Tower near MRT Magallanes. The event was organized by AyosDito.ph and it was for the media and bloggers (from Nuffnang Philippines). I was fortunate to be invited to the event. It’s a great party.

AyosDito.ph iBall is the company’s way of thanking their customers and the media who’s very supportive of the website as they reached their 5th year here in the Philippines. You can say that it’s a media appreciation night or simply an eyeball (EB) for bloggers to meet fellow bloggers.

The event was hosted by Jojo the Love Survivor and Ramon Bautista along with DJ Sam YG, Slick Rick and Tony Toni of Boys Night Out. Ramon Bautista is becoming the face of AyosDito.ph.

The event started with a very nice snack of street foods like fishball, kikiam and siomai as well as other snacks like potato chips, tacos, peanuts, ice tea and a caramel dessert. Thus the party was called “iBall”.

The event started with a very energetic performance from LSDC-Street (La Salle Dance Company). They blended in with the crowd before doing a flash mob sort of thing. Their energy is overwhelming. There was also a great performance from Beatbox Gor, who made astounding sounds using only his voice. The DJ of the event was Inno Naguit.

AyosDito.ph also showed a video on the different festivals in the country that they participated – like in Panagbenga, MassKara, Sinulog, in Zambales, in Boracay and other venues. They’ve been active in encouraging Filipinos to “let go” of the things in their past and sell those stuff on the site.

The highlight of the event was the raffle – and the prizes are fabulous. This includes GoPro cameras, Vonzipper sunglasses, G-Shock watches, and Instax camera. It was done through an electronic raffle where all the names of the participants are listed and I could actually see my name – but I have no luck in raffles.

I also met a cool blogger by the name of Kevin as well as the community manager of Nuffnang, Jamon, and the rest of the Nuffnang staff. Again, thank you for inviting me to this event. I hope to see you all again soon.
