Poblacion, Oslob, Cebu Province (in Pictures)
Oslob, Cebu is famous for whale shark watching. Since it’s not tourist season when I visited, and I have very limited budget, I opted to visit the Poblacion area instead. I’m actually more into architecture of the town and visiting the key sites like the main Catholic Church in the area, the plaza, the munisipyo (municipal hall), the palengke (public market) and Jose Rizal’s monument.
I’ll probably add a bit more information about the town but for now, I just want to publish these pictures taken at the Poblacion area of the quiet town of Oslob. What makes this town unique is the presence of a Spanish-era cuartel (garrison or something) and the ruins of a watchtower.
Some of the establishments in the Poblacion area. Good thing they have M Lhuillier and Western Union.
