Bogo City, Cebu Province (in Pictures)

Bogo is a coastal component city in the island province of Cebu.

The city has a land area of 103.52 square kilometers or 39.97 square miles which constitutes 2.09% of Cebu's total area. Its population as determined by the 2020 Census was 88,867. This represented 2.67% of the total population of Cebu province, or 1.10% of the overall population of the Central Visayas region. Based on these figures, the population density is computed at 858 inhabitants per square kilometer or 2,223 inhabitants per square mile. Bogo has 29 barangays (PhilAtlas)

From Daanbantayan, I went back to Cebu City but stopping over to the towns and cities along the main highway. I had a stopover at Bogo City, Cebu Province. My first stop was the Archdiocesan Shrine of St. Vincent Ferrer. It was being painted when I visited last February 22, 2022 so I don’t know what the final look is.

Then I walk to the city’s Poblacion and I appreciate the old houses I’ve seen. There’s also one that is repurpose to be a restaurant adjacent to the city park. From the town center I rode a tricycle to the Central Bus Terminal which is far from the city center.

Here are some of the pictures I took of Bogo City in Cebu Province.
