Ginatilan is a coastal municipality in the island province of Cebu.
The municipality has a land area of 70.10 square kilometers or 27.07 square miles which constitutes 1.42% of Cebu's total area. Its population as determined by the 2020 Census was 16,906. This represented 0.51% of the total population of Cebu province, or 0.21% of the overall population of the Central Visayas region. Based on these figures, the population density is computed at 241 inhabitants per square kilometer or 625 inhabitants per square mile. Ginatilan has 14 barangays. (PhilAtlas)
From Samboan, I rod a bus to the town of Ginatilan. It has a small town feel but I find the St Gregory the Great Parish Church worthy of visit. The bell tower is astonishing. After Ginatilan, I went to Moalboal and another small town, Alegria.
